Her entries are number 10, 11, and 12. She wanted to join the contest when she saw me working on my open class entries. so she just picked out 3 of the SD kits i have in my collection and she went to work. just asking me tips on how to paint with spray cans and gundam markers… for a first effort, i must say i was very surprised with her work. i told her not to be negative if she doesnt win. to be able to make these entries and be happy with them is reward enough.. works for me.

hehehehehe… it helps that her uncle has a ready stock of SD kits plus a ton of spare paint and markers lying around. and she was motivated to finish them. but i did tell her not to let this hobby affect her studies. so far so good. she’s holding up her end of the bargain, so im holding up mine. hehehe

if you dont have a child of your own, next best thing is having a niece or nephew thats interested. if theyre interested, then its just a matter of nudging them in the right direction. 🙂
