Hey everyone,
If you just typed in the old address and noticed your browser flashed and brought you here—don’t worry, you are in the right place!
After running under the GundamPH banner for over 15 years, it’s time for a much-needed fresh start. As many of you know, the site has basically been sitting in a quiet limbo since August 2013. I hit a massive wall of burnout back then trying to maintain regular posts and kit/figure reviews on top of managing a community which I helped started. I needed to step away, and during that long hiatus, my life moved forward. I relocated from the Philippines a while ago, and as my environment changed, my collection changed along with it.
While I still love Mecha and Gunpla, my shelves are now sharing space with high-end 1/6 scale figures, and even some premium fountain pens. Because of that, the old name just felt a bit too specific and regionally locked for where the hobby is taking me.
Welcome to OmniScale Toys—my new global, multi-hobby space.
What happens to the old content?
Absolutely nothing! I am keeping the entire 15-year archive of Gundam guides, non-PG lists, and historical reviews completely alive right here. You might still see the old “Gundam Philippines” logo and branding scattered across these older posts for a while, but all future updates will live under the new OmniScale name.
What to expect moving forward:
I want this hobby to feel like a hobby again, which means leaving the grinding review formats in the past.
Moving forward, things are going to be incredibly casual. This site is turning into a low-pressure personal diary. Expect plenty of simple image dumps, quick photo showcases, and my raw thoughts and opinions on whatever newly posed figure or pen is sitting on my desk that week. No strict schedule, no corporate stress—just a collector sharing cool stuff.
The old domain will redirect here automatically indefinitely, so you don’t need to change anything. Thank you to everyone who followed the old blog over the last decade and more, and I hope you stick around to see what hits the shelves next!
Cheers,
OmniCollector
