We were at SM Megamall today till 2pm. That is why we were able to witness the submission of entries of some participants of the Gundam Model Kit Contest hosted by Toy Kingdom. I was able to take picture of some of the entries but as I have said, we were there till 2pm only. I was also able to see some familiar faces but they were too busy sticking blue tack to their prized entries… haha

My Niece thanks you for taking pics of her entries in the Junior class
wow… that is nice! which one of those is her entry? tell her goodluck!
Her entries are number 10, 11, and 12. She wanted to join the contest when she saw me working on my open class entries. so she just picked out 3 of the SD kits i have in my collection and she went to work. just asking me tips on how to paint with spray cans and gundam markers… for a first effort, i must say i was very surprised with her work. i told her not to be negative if she doesnt win. to be able to make these entries and be happy with them is reward enough.. works for me.
wow that is really nice! 3 entries for a first timer… even I do not have an entry to showcase… i am glad for her! 🙂
hehehehehe… it helps that her uncle has a ready stock of SD kits plus a ton of spare paint and markers lying around. and she was motivated to finish them. but i did tell her not to let this hobby affect her studies. so far so good. she’s holding up her end of the bargain, so im holding up mine. hehehe
natutuwa talaga… naisip ko when I have a child of my own, tuturuan ko din mag gunpla haha…
if you dont have a child of your own, next best thing is having a niece or nephew thats interested. if theyre interested, then its just a matter of nudging them in the right direction. 🙂
i totally agree!
balita ko mga bata kalaban mo ah. nice…
Nope, hindi ako kasali dito. Anyway may categories, so nahiwalay ung bata sa matatanda. hahaha
